Los Angeles, CA – [November 17, 2025] — Arcadian, a leading technology solutions company serving the global streaming and entertainment industry, today announced the appointment of Mark Karpus as Director of Engineering. Based in California, Mark will lead Arcadian’s development teams across the U.S. and Asia, driving the company’s engineering roadmap as it expands its portfolio of scalable, high-performance software platforms for media, cloud, and digital video clients.
With more than 15 years of experience building and leading large-scale engineering and product organizations, Mark brings a proven track record of innovation across some of the industry’s most recognizable media and technology brands, including FOX Corporation, Pluto TV, and DIRECTV. His appointment underscores Arcadian’s commitment to investing in leadership that bridges cutting-edge technical vision with operational excellence.
At FOX Corporation, Mark served as Senior Product Manager for AI and Living Room Experience on the Venu Sports platform, where he enhanced artificial intelligence model performance across mobile and connected TV environments. He also led key platform integration efforts with global partners including Samsung, Xbox, and PlayStation, improving search and discovery experiences to drive subscriber growth.
Prior to FOX, Mark was Principal Product Manager at Pluto TV, where he spearheaded major content system initiatives and partner integrations with leading OTT platforms and device manufacturers. He was instrumental in developing Pluto TV’s Content Feeds as a Service (CFaaS) platform, enabling scalable content distribution and streamlined metadata integration across dozens of international partners. His leadership played a key role in Pluto TV’s rapid audience expansion and global operational success.
Earlier in his career at DIRECTV and AT&T, Mark led Technical Program Management for embedded software engineering, overseeing multi-million-dollar product development programs and cross-functional teams of over 75 engineers. He was central to the launch of the AT&T TV platform, managing complex hardware and software integrations with partners such as Broadcom, Samsung, and Google. His efforts contributed to accelerated delivery timelines and new user experiences for millions of customers across the Americas.
