By deploying NETINT Smart VPUs, Arcadian expects to deliver video processing cost savings of more than 50% for media & entertainment companies building OTT platforms.

In this agreement, Arcadian will serve as a deployment and engineering partner for NETINT’s Smart VPU™ technology, to facilitate the integration of NETINT solutions into the workflows of media companies, streaming platforms, and studios.

With resolutions up to 8K and high dynamic range (HDR) processing, VPUs are more than ten times (10x) more efficient compared to traditional software encoding solutions, while consuming 80% less power.
Arcadian’s engineering experience spans apps and platforms owned and operated by leading studios and media companies. This positions the company to assist adopters of NETINT VPUs needing to transition from platforms and blackbox solutions for faster return-on-invested capital.
